Classic And Modern Pest Control.

Recommended Posts

Been chipping away at the numbers on one of the permissions.

Here`s the rabbits ready for transport this week end. ( yes Mac, frozen, as the birds of prey prefer fresh to rotten  )

Any wood pigeons, now, are being frozen ready for decoying of cradles.

All vermin taken with either the FWB Sport 124, (.177) classic , or the HW 100 KT .177.

Shall I put a mind or two to bed here ?

Whenever I shoot 1 rabbit or 5 or 6, same with pigeons, etc, - I make sure nothing gets wasted, so they get frozen, if not eaten.

I`ll usually take a photo on the night of the session..

Then they go in the freezer as I shoot more than we need because this is pest control

Then I`ll take a photo or two before they go to the birds of prey, " as a collective"

WHY ?

Well - it makes for some impressive photos, you see.

Here`s a good haul of vermin, bagged, ready for the birds of prey.

There are many occasions , however, when vermin are shot in large numbers, " for an air rifle"- in one session.

Here`s the Rat Works tuned T Rex 200 HC mk 3 at work :toast::toast::toast:

you don't need to prove yourself Mark :whistling: cracking pics and bloody well done -it shows if you have enough quarry on the land that you shoot on large numbers are achievable with an air rifle without too much fuss- ftm
