Born Hunter 17,832
Yes, very good. If it's any reflection on the truth then f**k me! I've also recently watched Miss Sloane which is about US lobbiests and gun control and last night I watched Arrival which is very similar to Interstellar. All very good. Nik_B 3,790
I thought it was an amazing story made into a shit film, although I enjoyed it the scenes at training camp were acted out like some dodgy comedy and the dating scenes were poorly acted. The guy is a legend though a true hero who was stronger than the mob. Atb Joe I think nearly all films based on fact are like that...I've given up watching anything. I tried to watch this and got 1/3 of the way in and couldn't be bothered with it

Nik_B 3,790
I thought it was going to be shit when i saw the bits at the training camp but the fighting scenes were great It's like Saving Private Ryan, they did an amazing job in parts but the story was ridiculous....films like the Longest Day, Bridge too Far or the Battle of Britain were almost documentary style films and worked perfectly. Lol Time as a physical dimension to start with. Some c**t thinking they can signal across intergalactic space. Pushing books out of a bookshelf Feel free to dispel my statement at any time Does any of that break currently established laws of nature though? All sci-fi is based on a speculative premise, what makes it good sci-fi, other than the obvious need for theatrics, is being self consistent and not violating known natural laws. Not sure what you mean by time being a physical dimension? Do you mean real, like spacial dimensions and forces etc? Or are you saying that time travel has been proven to be impossible? I can't remember how they signal across intergalactic space, I need to watch the film again. Do you mean when they transmitted data back to Earth on the planets they each went to? Surely that was through the wormhole? Generally speaking, the science was very good for a film. But then it should with a theoretical physicist refusing to work on it as executive producer unless they used all of his calculations for the science. Very few have tried to portray such grand science so closely to the theory, beyond the obvious speculative premise.
Neobliviscaris1776 1,998
Time is a physical dimension? I would say time was born when the the physical universe was born.. undoubtedly
