I'm after a lithium battery just wondering if anyone could recommend the best place to buy one as their expensive and the best one to go for make and size at the minute I have 22ah golf cart battery lasts for a good few days so relie I wouldn't need anything of that amp just enough to last a sensible nights lamping any help much apreciated

I use the 22amp one I think I bought it from a shop called bush wear I payed about £220 for it but that was about 3- 4 years ago.

What make is that mate ive seen the deben ones and I have found another one witch was cheaper their orange can't rember the name of it thoe

Go for Deben bud. Good quality & good after sales may be bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. Atb

Have a look for LiFePo4 batteries. It's the new type of Lithium battery. Much more stable battery and because they aren't so hazardous their cheaper to manufacture so cheaper to buy.

I'll have my Owen brand of lithium batterys for sale very soon if you can hang on a bit you will say good few quid and it will be smaller and lighter than others of same size

Cheer people I have just looked at the link by the time you buy the charger to that battery you might as well buy the deben one witch is a full kit

 

and I'm in no rush mate just looking about at the moment but want one for when winter comes

that could be a wildhunter battery i use a 15ah one i get two or three nights out of it and has a button to check power level it weighs 900 grams.

I believe it was called wild hunter their about 2/3rds of the price of the deben ones but didn't no if they was anygood

Google is your friend. I have a lifepo4 battery same size as the old 7 a/h lead acid which weighs nothing and goes in a coat pocket. Use it with a clulite blazer and have never run it flat and it holds charge for months if unused. That was £ with a charger last year. Recently bought a smaller lifepo4 battery for £35 without a charger, it's used for a motorcycle starter, but imagine it would do fine for shorter lamping trips.
