stop.end 4,079
Wasn't the Dangerous Dogs Act amended so you're committing the offense of your dog being out of control in a public place if it attacks a wild animal? I seem to remember that being the case but I'm not 100%, will have to go and check the amendments. Just had a look and it seems that was talked about but in the end wasn't included, someone actually used common sense which is quite shocking actually! Sweet lord above..you have just proved yourself to be the clown you are corbyn jr...a lurcher whatever x is a family pet yous for its origanal purpose..work..they are socialised with family..friends children and other dogs..livestock and every other situation you can imagine..how the fek is that a dangerous dog.... Nothing to do with the "can you kill a fox with a lurcher or not" debate but reading your post there Stopend are you still a Rep for the IWTF in Northern ireland ? It's a genuine question and the reason I asked is because I'd find it hard to believe someone representing a club would write such childish name calling drivel. 3 Quote Link to post

Where did I say a lurcher was dangerous you total clown, I was talking about a proposed change to the law. Take your argument up with the lawmakers who proposed it. Still waiting for you to quote the relevant section of the Hunting Act that says it's legal to slip a lurcher on a bolting fox, seems you're incapable of providing a source for your stupid and dangerous statement.... BGD 6,436
Oh I've done plenty of research and all of it points to you being a total clown who's talking out of his arse on a subject he knows very little about. Happy to be proven wrong though Quote Link to post
jackthelad 1,893
so if your walking the dogs before bed and they lift something are u breaking the law if u lift the beasty? Even if u never set out to hunt anything ? Quote Link to post
Saltmoon 2,208
so if your walking the dogs before bed and they lift something are u breaking the law if u lift the beasty? Even if u never set out to hunt anything ? It's about reasonable dout if you was out on a walk and something happened and that was not you intention then whoever was bringing charges for such "offence" would have a job proving otherwise however they will check everything conversations through that day and if lamping had been mentioned then they would use that against you. But back to the question they would argue the fact but in the end they would not be able to charge unless evidence suggest otherwise. So if it was just a walk and something happened then I'd say you'd be fine. 1 Quote Link to post
