Most of the cats can and will interbreed but from observation I would say a jaguar is just to big and to specialised to be in the uk without being seen and causing big damage, melonism also clouds the water as many cats seem to revert to black, some people are of the opinion that England will end up with a species of its own due to small gene pools and hybridisation, As i,ve said before I,m not dealing with facts I,m trying to work things out without a manual or text book  a lack of competition also makes them work differently here as there are no bears,  wolfs or other preditors to disrupt there behaviour any ways my tablet keeps crashing so am shutting down for a bit sorry

Jaguar and mountain lion have interbred, the young are called pumapards, their range actually overlaps, theres been a number of jaguar treed by guys working hounds on what they thought were mountain lion.

I was watching a program where couple young male jaguars had set up territory in southern USA ,Texas or Arizona? Can't remember which.

Yea mate they were all over the UK years ago. Hunted out. However managed to stay hidden in the great forests up here. You're a lucky c**t if you see this one in the uk.infact I'll bet there more alleged sightings of pumas and leopards in the UK than actual native wildcats lol

Don't like cats but aye the Scottish wildcat is a stunning looking beast. Went to a sanctuary last year where the people are preserving the true wildcat.

Best of luck to them.

The bloke doing the Lynx project also runs a wildcat project up there as well, he goes round trapping and sterilising local feral,s because as said a lot of times cats are slutty and the biggest risk to the  Scottish wildcat is its hybridised so much it's hard finding pure blood stock, but on a positive note  it was once native all over England and is still native over much of Europe so though not a true jock the species is,nt as badly off as some suggest, cats are so promiscuous that one pair can outbreeda pair of rabbits over the course of a year
