I thought 'fox' as soon as you put the grainy pics up.

My reply to you about the pics being grainy, maybe a puma, was all in jest, foxy.

And now you're going to say 'so why didn't you say fox?'  Or something along those lines.

It was pretty obvious, to me anyway.

Why didn’t you say mate ??

Id say being perfectly honest these lads you rely on for info need night vision along side the thermal for real time ID as it shows a lot more detail .

Thermal is only ever an indicator of warmth and most ,in the  shooting world ,agree it is not to be relied on for ID .

For instance out ratting last night I saw a rat shape bottom of  a shed and put the airgun on sticks .It turned out to be a calves leg between two bits of tin .

There have been serious mistakes with thermal scopes regards livestock that I know of .The badger cull won’t allow the use of thermal scopes ,only spotters and I believe they are banned in Scotland for deer .

Heres an example of a fox in the thermal and same fox in the Night vision of the pard 008

I actually find it amazing how you think you are the only one that’s used any of this gear, I,ve had night vision and thermal for years also been out with 15k drones , but you would no all that if any of this thread had actually registered in your nogging or you had bothered to look at any of the things that have been added, the more shite you keep spouting the more obvious it is that your only interest is being the biggest smart arse in the room and always having the last word, I can’t wait for our wander in the country as I’m expecting to learn so much from you, ??

You will if you let yourself??? .You’ve never mentioned you have NV or thermal to me mate nor have you stated any of the vids are yours .If you have NV where are any pics or vids .

I merely pointed out something I didn’t know you knew mate so for  that I apologies if it seems I’m being arrogant ,it wasn’t my intention .

It has also highlighted to others who may not have the kit that it isn’t infallible .Also the thread is not all about you mate ,others would like an unbiased opinion as well I’m sure and how better to do it than through pics and vids .

You appear to be the only one upset about my own vids posted ,why’s that ?
Does it shed light on the fact that foxes look very feline at times and you don’t like that !
The vid a while back of mammals in a field ,on a wall etc is case in question and highlights perfectly your inexperience of thermal as you put them up as cats but clearly fox to those who know .

From time to time you try belittle me as though I don’t get out and ask for proof of what I do .Well I have over 350 vids of both thermal and NV if anyone wants to see more .

I know what I know mate and have no clue as how much you know .I do know you thought a roe scrape was a cat mark ,you think large dog prints pass for cats and that any old dead ,scavenged beast is a cat kill and that you don’t really believe that thermal vid you put up was a puma .There’s been other instances but I’ll not bore you with them .The last word isn’t necessarily needed but I’ll reply to your posts if that’s ok with you mate .

Merry Christmas anyway mate ???

Leopard to the left of the tree

I can see wyle E coyote, to our right of the tree.

On my phone again though, so could possibly be a puma?  ?
