One way to clear that up take a dog Rottweiler size and compare it

Agreed mate but nothing forthcoming yet .The tree is the scale for me as well as shape of the cat ,the ears ,the flanks ,the size as it moves off compared to everything else .

Ill wager none of the “experts “are ever named who say  it’s a cougar nor shall we ever see the location in daylight or a scale of any sorts .

Ill wager none of the “experts “come forward to admit it’s a cougar nor shall we ever see the location in daylight or a scale of any sorts .

That’ll be shame mate, you being a shooting man if you saw one would your shoot it?

The first time i watched it i never spotted the building at the back, Taking the size of that building in relation to the tree then the size of the cat would be normal household cat size, But this could easily be confirmed or not by seeing the same picture in daylight and a few quick measurements,

As they arnt on my license at moment then no mate but if they are ever recognised and I see one killing livestock or near it then yes .The law regarding house ,feral cats is sketchy enough without having the feckers on steroids ???

If its outside of the boundary of its owners premises and somewhere where it shouldn't be. then its feral in my book.

Agreed mate but I’ve witnessed first hand the grief from a person feeding the bloody things can bring and subsequent police enquiry .Not me  doing the shooting but a keeper i know very well.He shot the feral in a game cover and was seen carrying it out by a tenant on the estate who had been feeding the thing ,said it was her cat .

I have had the very same, seen shoving its body down a rabbit hole by the farmers wife who said it was her cat, a few weeks later the FLO contacted me as someone had made a report of someone firing a full bore rifle towards there farm house after dark whilst on a quad. They said it was me. it just so happened i had just ordered a new 22/250 and chucked my old one in part exchange whilst i applied for a variation, so i had no full bore rifle in my cabinet at the time, More luck than judgement mate, That's all it takes to put you in a whole world of shit.
