Canines ,feline ,vulpus and hyaenidia all move differently mate .Name one trait feline has with vulpine .

As I said in an earlier post; there is a field next to our house and over the years we have been able to watch foxes and domestic cats hunt the mice in the field. Young foxes behave exactly the same way as cats do when stalking the mice. Same slow approach, same one forleg raised stance when they spot something, same stare and raised ears, then a stalk, and a crouch leading to a spring.

There was a wildlife program on tv a month or so back showing three cheetahs hunting antelope. Their tactics mirrored a wolf pack. They all knew their roles and performed as a team.

There are domestic cats that are leash trained.

But if you saw either body form doing such behaviour you’d know what it was eh mate .I’m 100% I would .Even a fox coloured cat is still a cat mate .As for lead trained cats ,tell me about it .A women near me walks a fecking cat on a lead past my kennels most nights .I’m plucking up the courage to let them both out and put a stop to it .Cocky thing knows they can’t get to it ?

You're confusing hunting tactics with motion, there is a noticeable difference in movement between canids and felines.

Male cheetahs often hunt together as part of a coalition, not wolf like though in the slightest.

That is the point. Under nv or in a poor quality photo you often cannot distinguish the animal visually so you look for other clues including behaviour, locomotion, size, statistic probability, etc. To say that you can eliminate canines or felines based purely on movement or behaviour is plain wrong. I don't doubt thst you are expert on identifying the animals that you come across regularly, but you cannot compare them to the ones that you don't see.

Because they ain’t there ,duh.I’ve seen loads of feral ,domestic cats in the thermal mate ,shot a few where needed but never seen anything worthy of big cat title in an area apparently rife if we are to believe others .If I do see one this forum will be the first to see it ,next stop taxidermist .

Why are you so anti the fact some know what they are talking about .

Granted mate but the style in which they do so is poles apart you would agree .I’d also say that cats kidneys are level with each other whilst foxes are staggered and the skull are totally different wouldnt you say.
