I watched a program a few years ago and it was quite sad that a few were being shot, but as it was not classed as a native species it was not actually illegal to do so, they were coming across from Holland I believe ?

A keeper mate of mine trapped it in the Yorkshire dales.

Was that a raccoon or a raccoon dog I seem to remember a raccoon dog being trapped and shot on here a while back  ?

as we seem to be talking a bit more amicably now, I mentioned a while back some thermal images that I had been shown the fellow that took them has now done a podcast and stuck a few of his pictures and films up in the reference and links section, sorry I can’t stick them up here but for anyone interested it is worth a look still not 100% but if your being honest it is what it’s meant to be, he has now filmed it 20 times and also seen it in company with another one there are also other animals like hare and fox for comparison, have a listen to his podcast then view the images on the refs and links page, some of you may even know the area in Derbyshire ??

Interesting poddy that one is Greyman! The chap speaks well on there and there seems no doubt in his mind as to what he's been filming. If i remember right most of that footage is at 120-150 mtrs.. so there's some detairiation in the image due to using the zoom on the thermal. He'd need to be filming from around 25mtrs to get footage that would prove 100% what the animal is. Yes.. I know the area fairly well, it's only an hour from me. I was last up there a few months ago. Just a couple random pic's off my phone looking back into the Valley..?

Obviously that's just a little snippet of Derbyshire. To me people that say the UK isn't big enough to host a small population of big cat's haven't actually been out a deal and seen these and other place with their own eyes and walked the land.

F**king sofa surfers eh!!??
