As Sandy said ,your  average house cat is 11lb whereas the smallest Puma comes in at 70 pound .Pumas can make 200lb whereas house cats ,even obese rarely top 15 .

A lynx can be a decent size too.

Police are searching for the animal.

The fact it says it’s an escaped pet probably gave him a clue, you must be really scraping the barrel to be relevant now going to the express for your facts, ?

Is anyone watching the predator series on Netflix .One of the docs was on pumas in Patagonia .I was surprised at how vocal they are ,vocal enough to be heard here for sure .

Yes mate.. I watched that episode just a few day's ago. Good point you make to be fair. It's quite a dence population there from what they were saying.. not that that's anything to do with how vocal they are. Took that Lama thing well towards the end I thought mind..

I was also surprised at how close the film crew could get to the cat's too... they didn't seem too f**ked at all by the crews presence. Probably an easy target for filming over the years now due to the high number of cat's in that small area and they just accept these small groups of bipedal fukwhits poking their noses in!!
