hares can look the size of dogs if your focus is a bit out for the range with the thermal

Really mate? I've never used one. Thinking about picking one up mind.. be a handy tool to have kicking about. The chap on that poddy actually has a hare in the field at the same time as what he thinks to be a big cat. And a fox too in the same place for scale. He scaled the cat again a gate as it walked on the top of a dry stone wall and got a measurement of 41-43 inch that's from  tip I the nose looking down onto the wall to the base of the tail.. not the tip of the tail as the thermal doesn't show the actual tail well at that distance..?

Interesting poddy that one is Greyman! The chap speaks well on there and there seems no doubt in his mind as to what he's been filming. If i remember right most of that footage is at 120-150 mtrs.. so there's some detairiation in the image due to using the zoom on the thermal. He'd need to be filming from around 25mtrs to get footage that would prove 100% what the animal is. Yes.. I know the area fairly well, it's only an hour from me. I was last up there a few months ago. Just a couple random pic's off my phone looking back into the Valley..?

Obviously that's just a little snippet of Derbyshire. To me people that say the UK isn't big enough to host a small population of big cat's haven't actually been out a deal and seen these and other place with their own eyes and walked the land.

F**king sofa surfers eh!!??

The landscape says a lot,  when me and dc went to meet the metal detector guy I New we were there because of the landscape before we even pulled up, Bodmin ,exmoor, Dartmoor and the Cotswold all similar ??landscapes

there's a few different ones...and one of a fox going over the same wall....most convincing footage to date without a doubt ...

Also interesting that he has 10 trailcams out and still not got a hit yet ?

Click the link I put up, it’s the video an that from the guys podcast

Ok so I’ve watched all the videos and every single one is a fox .Sorry but I’ve seen thousands in a thermal. That thermal ,whatever the make is low end tech lads .

Fox tails appear cold and sometimes look like a skinny tail .
Seen those images every time I venture out I’m afraid .

Honestly not being a knob just telling the truth .

Yes mate will do I’m out tonight so I’ll see if I can find a Charlie at ranges similar .Did Greyman say roughly 150m .Those vids are taken low to the ground or uphill slightly ,giving the impression the animal is bigger than it is .Feline anatomy is much slender than that ,even leopard size .Might get lucky on a moggy tonight .
