dytkos 17,793 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 It sounds like she's wanting to hunt by scent. If you can, take her out with an experienced dog and let her watch. Also walk up a few rabbits and slip when she's seen them so she will see the movement when they scoot. You will lose rabbits this way but hopefully the bitch will associate keeping her head up with having more runs and your "strike rate" will increase.
