I wasn't aware being handy with your fists also meant you had balls of steel and be prepared to risk your life

This kind of $hit always makes me laugh. Good luck to him, I hope he gets a good 'deal' from islam because all I see with muhamed ali, Mike Tyson, anthony mundine, etc is some sort of a negotiation. They seem to be propaganda puppets to me and are just playing the game. I know some famous converts here in Oz were far from strict muslims a long time after they converted and anyone who thinks ali and Tyson followed strict islamic law is very much a naive fool. But if it benefits them in some way who am I to knock them...

Will it have an impact on his boxing ability? If not who gives a shit?

Most likely it will. Amir Khan has missed big fights and has had a serious few set backs on his career as he couldn't fight due to ramadan

Sounds like Khan was making excuses, there's loads of top level Muslim athletes who compete during Ramadan. If they can't manage while fasting they're allowed to break the fast and make up the days missed later in the year.

Yep, he made the personal decision to fast when he could have done what other Muslim athletes do and made up for it later in the year. No one forced him to fast when he had a fight coming up.

That's what I said in my first post, you banged your head or something?
