As stated lads, i`m back with the springers a while now, " getting my eye in" ready for the Wood Pigeon decoying season.

Took the classic FWB Sport 124, - these rifles just ooze class, awesome 40 yr old.

Yep. This is up there with ya posts Marko. Great shooting chap :thumbs:

 

I must admit, I wasn't a big old fan of the looks of those FWB's, but damn it, there growing on me. I think it was the amount of show around the breech area and the foreend wood not covering it up, but thats it. But the more Im seeing them, the more Im seeing what you see.

 

Did they even do a carbine version?

Hi there ianm

 

My 127 mk1 has the 1970`s Tasco 4x40 w/a on her.

One of the lads on here, tomburras, very kindly sent me a period Bushmaster 4x38 for that reason,- room for a period scope.

So ian I`m watching out for a FWB scope mount to be really period x 2.

Saying that, the Mamba and the 124 with sports match mounts are really complimenting each other.
