Liamboy 1,266
Think of it this way Nate diaz out boxed mcgregor twice would nate diaz stand a chance. Ridiculous. But if he wants to take a beating for many millions fair play. Only thing I will say though is this will be the end of mma. Whenever anybody mentions mma all you will hear is remember the top mma guy got slapped down by floyd. Probably Floyd's easiest fight to date. Nate Diaz never outboxed mcgregor
stonewall 1,913
mayweather will school him and box him from pillar too post. A lot of people think connor will beat him,the hype train is starting to gain pace here in ireland that he could win,and when it comes to sport we love a fairy tale.his gas tank has massive question marks over it. jiggy 3,209
Mcgregor will pull mayweather down to the mat and get disqualified and will save face and go home 100 million richer.

Nate Diaz never outboxed mcgregorYes he didMcgregor used Diaz as a punch bag in the first fight until his cardio let him down. And in the 2nd fight he boxed the ears off him including dropping him 3 times and won. I'm not saying he will beat mayweather cos I don't think he will but he outboxed diaz

gamerooster 1,179
I can honestly say hand on heart I've never watched a mcgregor fight, though his fans love him that much they don't care who he fights, they just want to see him fight, it'd be like me hearing Kelly Brook was going to be in a porno, I couldn't care less who was smashing her be it mandingo or Mr blobby, I'd still pay to see that s**t

Second fight was close could have went either way hence the split decision but at best he barely won. Those are facts take what you want from them. Its not all about volume. Mcgregor by far landed the heavier more damage causing shots in both fights. He put Diaz down 3 times
Robert hasselhoff 137
I do like mcgregor, however this fight is just ridiculous and makes a mockery of both sports. To completely different sports, but hey money talks
Bunnyblatter 1,012
like pesky i like niether man,,,,but this just shows the arrogance of the man ,,,[connor],,,It shows how poor the ufc is. You've got to the top of the game in your sport bit you have to jump ship and move to boxing and get beaten down to make any real money. I'd say he's not done too bad from his sport. £22 million is hardly small change I'd call that real money

But it is what I'd call real money as most of us would. Granted a boxer at the top his game like maywether is in a different league
stumfelter 3,034
I don't know what all the fuss is about, like all boxing matches it's just two men fisting each other in the ring, no big deal.
gnasher16 30,121
Like Stan said to even discuss the outcome or fight tactics would be giving it credit it doesnt deserve its a non event for actual fight fans but a blockbuster for fans who like the " Hollywood " aspect of boxing......the damage it does to mma i couldn't care less about but the damage it does to boxing comes in many different guises the main one for me being the impression it gives to talented young fighters......McGregor is an extremely charismatic young man with a lot of charm and personality shit id like to give him a big sloppy hug myself that's how charisma works you draw people to you....but personality alone should not be able to take you to the very top of a sport you have never competed in....Mayweather is the most dominant champion of his generation unbeaten in 50 odd fights...McGregor has had 20 odd fights and lost 3 is it.....on paper its not a legitimate match up....as sportsman they are not a legitimate match up.......so it's no surprise that you see young fighters these days working harder on their personalities than on their boxing skills a lad close to me Ohara Davies is a perfect example he has skills and talent in abundance but instead of working hard on his ability he works harder getting in arguments on Twitter and fannying about trying to get peoples attention boxing is not a popularity contest yet this lad McGregor top fighter in his own sport that he is will be getting the type of opportunity far better boxers than him would not get......through the financial power of his appeal and personality alone.
