finished work early today as the scaffolders had gone on the pi55

so i took a drive through to pickering guns, been thinking about getting something for a while!

so i bought this..

this is not a review just a bit of a comparison of air arms to the hw springers that have been covered by a few of the lads!

first impressions it looked like sh1t because they have decided to spray them after production to protect the Finnish

i knew it wasn't a problem as i knew it would come up fine but rob in the shop was well pissed off cos he'd spent ages trying to clean it!

the safety was seized off by the oil/gunk but i knew i was going to strip it straight away before i used it so that was my bargaining power for a discount and a free tbt drop in kit

the new rifle

rubbish pic but theres loads in this comp tube :icon_eek:

so did a full on de grease ....polished all the bits that needed it including the cocking rail as it makes it way nicer to cock!

the spring ends were about the same standard as the ones in my 95 so they got finished off properly

post-102306-0-84527400-1497384206.jpg

Aye up Si :bye: ,

Interesting post mate and I`m no gun smith, - you should see me with an Ikea cupboard :no: .

Anyways your chrono` figures of 744 ft/sec, 8.4 g Fields, before you touched her, say she was originally doing 10.33 ft/lbs.

According to air gun calculator, not me. :icon_redface::laugh:

Great post Si :victory:
