mark williams 7,561
Well Tom`s scope has landed and looks the right sort of era for the old FWB Sports. No mill dots lads back to real field craft and range specific shooting. The old Bushnell 4x38 Very generous of you Tom, atb Mark 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,561
How the old days drew every ounce of thought on how to improve. I used to have an old 4x32 ( the make is lost in the mists of time) but what I soon learned, was that I had two points of perfect zero. The cross hair and the very top of the vertical post. These aim points would vary between different scopes I used on different rifles but this is my first ever calibrations in the 1970 eras. Without trying Tom, the look of the tight post and crosshairs of the Bushmaster might mirror my old zero of cross hair = 28yds to 31yds, post top = 35 yds to 38 yds. Which is all I normally use anyway, with the classics. I get the impression this scope is the older Japanese glass, compared to the newer Korean copy ? ( if I remember correctly ? ) Very similar to my Tasco 4x40 for quality, so yes, nice classic glass Tom. Again, thank you. atb Mark 2 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
I love the simplicity of scopes like this. And they look good on a traditional looking spring rifle. What a really kind gesture. Well done Tom. Very kind of you sir. Quote Link to post
