Recommended Posts

hi there

dave here again i wanted to ask a question, im wanting a p.c.p. i have done quite a bit of research and im looking at two. 1..bsa r10 mk2 in 177. and 2..weihrauch 100kt 177 thats the cal. i want for the flatter trajectory they are both fantastic but i see the bsa as not being serious. as they have been around years and just made guns for plinking for the masses if you see what i mean with the others they did. the meteor the mercury the airsporter and the others with S on the end of there names. guns a lot of us grew up with the weihrauch serious allways and that german engineering i know there is others to. daystate and others but they are so f****n expensive way to much. i suppose im gonna get some flak here. but well hey hoo so just a bit of help guys 1..the bsa or 2..the weihrauch 100 cheers guys

HW100 without a doubt

The R10s are good rifles but, for me, the 100 wins.

...... 14 shot mag, side lever cocking, impossible to double load.

Both are excellent for targets or hunting but, I'd still go HW100

dont know what there like now but when i was shopping for a gun weihrauch where far too heavy so i gave up on them

They're still a bit of a lump mate. A&M cylinders do reduce the weight but, I'm still grateful for a sling when I'm out and about

100's have never been near heavy in my opinion. Weigh as much as a large plate compared to others. HW springers on the other hand, bar the 30, 99, 95 are a decent poundage. Even a rapid makes a 100 feel light.

Eagles eyes my man :)

There subtle different systems. The v-mach, is a spring, sleeve, piston head, grease, washers and so on. A glide system is a piston running in synthetic rings inside the compression cylinder, in the case of my 97, plus the previous. In all honesty, its just what Air Arms, Walther do as standard.
