Election Result Predictions............

Got to love Corbyn's skewed view of the world. Latest quote: "It's pretty clear who won this election."

Yes, it is Jeremy. The party that won 57 more seats than your lot.

How can you put spin on facts like that?

Diane (brains of Britain) Abbot reckon it will be a draw 60% labour 60% Conservatives :)

I've never been a great cynic, but sweet Christ, a staunch remainer (May) has a workable majority, has the backing to push ahead with brexit, calls a snap election, which she said she wouldn't and pro

My brother has met May a few times over the years & he thinks she is just not suited for that role. Not a political opinion, but based on her personality........too introverted.

Well if you didn't go out & vote conservative, no good crying about the result. Maybe too many folk assuming others will do their dirty work for them?haha......

Not aimed at you, but a generalisation ;-)

Always makes me laugh some people with their opinions on voting, I know loads of people who vote swings and roundabouts at every election as in

"Tories have been in a while now, I'll stick labour down see what they do"

If posters seriously think that the average working class man under forty cares or worries much about brexit they are barking up the wrong tree.

No one cares one way or the other, you can be as big a Facebook politician for any political aim you want , whilst some one may like it or reply, more likely your getting called a c**t , boring or what do you know before your mates

Probably all three

I haven't seen it talked about much but the interesting aspect of this parliament is going to be English votes for English laws. The Tories only have a majority of 1 including the DUP and their seats in Scotland so when it comes to passing laws that only effect England they're totally hamstrung.

Don't Sinn Fein not take their seats knocking the majority mark down? Still not sure that gives the Gov' a majority on English matters though.

Yeah Sinn Fein and the speaker will knock the threshold down to 322 I think (don't hold me on that I've just got up and haven't checked the numbers) but pretty sure that will still leave them short of votes on devolved matters.
