stoggy 598
After all the rain we have had the last few days it gave a good day today so i arranged to meet with Stuart for a day on the pigeons. We met at 0930 and did not realise how wet it was till we got pushing the gear on the barrows and the wheels kept clogging up with mud.It was a matter of 500 yards and we eventually got shooting at about 1100.It was a very windy day and i had to put guy ropes to the hide poles to stop the hide from blowing down.We packed up just before 1700 with 47 pigeons between us.There were some good birds in the wind today and it made the day out all the better for it.We were shooting over winter rape again and the dogs did well retrieving all the birds shot. 6 Quote Link to post
