Welsh_red 4,686
I will be turning 1 of my brick sheds into a court for ferrets . I've been re reading James McKay book on ferrets and he says that some sealers can be poisonous to ferrets and he hasn't found a good one yet . Has anybody uses anything good for the court floor ? Worst case I don't seal it but it like to stop the piss soaking into concrete over time Quote Link to post

beany01 223
How about thinning down some grp resin and painting the floor? Should pull in the concrete nicely and won't be poisonous once cured Quote Link to post
Arry 22,189
Have you thought of latex self levelling compound, its for floors. Cheers Arry Quote Link to post
jtaylor 11
A resin floor paint as said once dried should be fine id imagine? Used alot at work and lasts forever Quote Link to post
king 11,980
Dust extracted wood shavings all over the floor. The ferrets will use 1 or 2 corners for there business. Put a few inches in them 2 corners and scoop up everyday and replace the shavings. Job done. Why you would want to seal the floor for I don't know. Total wasted of time and money. Quote Link to post

Their will be shavings down of course , I was just wondering about some sort of sealer incase the concrete got pissed on occasionally and it lingered through it. It's a rented house so just trying to cut down on odour as much as possible incase landlord came round and worried about the smell Quote Link to post

Takes a few minutes everyday to scoop the corners out and replace the shavings. Quote Link to post
