Jonjon79 13,358
Niggeloh slings are pretty good - mine is wider at the shoulder and has a grippy rubber back. It's well made and solid. I also like the wider woven paracord slings - very sturdy.

stoggy 598
I have two of these z aim rifle slings.Very good bit of kit and really does leave your hands free for carrying anything you have shot. https://youtu.be/nEAJRypvvH0
Vincej 3
I use a 1" nylon strap. A loop is wonderful thing for target shooting, but getting into one takes too long for hunting and a properly executed hasty sling hold is very steady. I use a couple of long beads of silicone seal on the inside surface in the appropriate area to keep it from slipping off the shoulder while carrying. samphire 18
You most probably want a sling a little more conventional. but i do have one of these i like using its handy piece of equiptment i have found and durable. http://www.cabelas.ca/product/4951/safari-rifle-sling
