lifelong cumbrian 1,826
Seen plenty of whippets with ears like that, I would say its as near a whippet as you will get, strong chest but seen them like that before. Size wise its about the size of a big dog whippet. Similar lugs, Mike Brown stuff 1 Quote Link to post
elliotmcc 67
I wouldn't trust those DNA tests tbh they come up with some right shite. Im glad im not the only one who thinks that, smells like bulls**t to me lol 2 Quote Link to post
jiggy 3,209
I wouldn't trust those DNA tests tbh they come up with some right shite.I remember someone on an American forum doing one of those tests on a APBT of theirs to prove how bullshit they were. It ended up coming back saying this dog with a pedigree that could be traced back to some of the first bulldogs to be brought to America was a mix of collie, gundog and chow Maybe they've improved since then though? This was probably 10 or more years ago. I bet if two different people brought in two litter brothers or sisters the results would show up different lol 2 Quote Link to post

Tratante 92
Did the breeding, big chested so will run all day, short base so will turn on a sixpence, big lugs so will hear a ferret working, small quarters so won't have the true speed of a grey or whippet, narrow head so will be thick (even with collie somewhere in the DNA). Looks a bit unbalanced from the photo but still would make a lamping hound! Sent from Singapore Quote Link to post
P5HEN 168
yes been reading up about dna results for dogs and they arent very accurate, although they werent completely inaccurate on some results, maybe in a few years with a litlle more research they may get it right, so until that day us on thl will decide what it is http://news.vin.com/vinnews.aspx?articleId=23206 Quote Link to post
