Labour are a joke , Conservatives called this election to get a majority so they can push through Brexit without remainers hindering them . In the absence of a none of the above box maybe that is the best way, a lot of people just don't bother because they can't be bothered, others don't vote because they don't like the options and won't vote for someone they don't want, so elect a lot of independents around the country and the big parties will have no option but to look at why people are so disengaged. Not a very vocal one, but a Remainer never the less. Suddenly she has had an epiphany, and wakes up one morning as a hard line Brexiteer - I don't buy it ! Her record as Home Secretary wasn't exactly sparkling (massive reduction in police numbers, failure to reduce immigration, prisons in crisis, I could go on.....). As PM, she planned changes to self employed VAT, which were dropped a few days later, and during he election campaign she dropped the so called 'dementia tax' at manifesto stage, having introduced the idea without consulting her ministers ! She presides over a weak economy, rising prices and falling wages........ Why WOULD I vote Conservative ? I agree with most of what you say , and you would be hard pressed to find a bigger cynic than me . But to get a brexit deal we could do without remainers trying to hamper progress. Fact is who else in reality is there ? And wouldn't you like to see the hunting ban overturned. I believe we should give her a chance , she is the best of a bad bunch .
