Wales1234 5,568
I found this on my pup a few weeks ago I cleaned it up changed her bed and it eventually went but it's back and a bit bigger anyone see it before it's on the back of her neck? Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Shave the area around it. You'll be able to see and treat it easier plus the hair could be making it worse? Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Might be something simple gone wrong because it's in a place the pup can't clean it itself so you do the cleaning and it should clean up 100%. Quote Link to post
shovel leaner 7,650
Looks like pyoderma or hotspot, can be caused by flea bite . Treatment.. the vet will give you fuciderm . You might try hydracautisone . 3 Quote Link to post
rob284 1,682
Wet eczema. You've got to clean the fur and keep it clean. It'll go in time. Some dogs are prone to it. 2 Quote Link to post

dillydog 8,477
Fusiderm, shovel leaner is spot on, clip the fur around it, wash with hibiscrub then apply the Fusiderm. Some clear up on themselves, some need the Fusiderm, you can get it over the counter at the chemists, it's weak but it works. If you want the strongest Fusiderm you'll have to get it from your vet 1 Quote Link to post

Leggy65 36
Yes it is wet eczema and will go on its own! I've had a few prone to it , mostly white dogs! Does come back at certain times of year due to weather conditions, bitches coming in season etc ! Quote Link to post
