Corkman 944
these were the last whites i had.the top one was a bitch gifted to me as a pup fromSB from cork although i believe the bitch was bred elsewhere her sire was robot, the bottom lad served me well for many years even had to hire a machine to get him out once and any lads the dug to him were well pleased, all gone now but the memories remain. OJ, was the Sire Rambo not Robot by any chance? Nice dogs. Were they the two pups that I brought over in my jeep with SB to the welsh years back? Quote Link to post

eastcoast 4,116
"John Gaunt of Derby, rat-catcher to the Midland Railway Company, whose tame foxes assisted him in his duties." They have been called many things throughout the years, hunt terriers, Fox Terriers, Jack Russells, Parson Russells or just plain old white dogs. I'm not suggesting that they are all of an ancient lineage with nothing added over time (despite what the deluded owners of £600 KC Parson's are led to believe) but the "type" endures. 9 Quote Link to post

That exact same TYPE is still kept in Ireland to this day 2017.. same size looks and coat. John Gaunt, or as he was also known John Weldon, the saw mills rat catcher was said to keep a fox terrier type. Would the terrier in your pic be a fox terrier type ? Quote Link to post
