shovel leaner 7,650
Hi mate , Had the same thought when I fitted mine . I'm no expert, but I've seen those add on nv setups and you shoot looking into a small screen with your head off the stock . I've been using my pulsar for a week now and you have to lift your head slightly to look through the scope . I have sighted it in and been out and shot a couple of rabbits to practice. And have now had three foxes with it . My advice is have a practice and get the feel of it before you try live quarry . Good luck
springer man 4
Thanks for the feed back I was thinking of getting a rail for it I also tried a pice of pipe lagging to raise comb a bit was it much of a pain to zero by the way well done on the foxes we've got to much going on in our fields at the moment crops that is and when we do see them as soon as the lamp hits them There gone that's why I got the550
SNAP-SHOT 138
Had similar issue myself it was bearable on level ground, but ended up buying a rubber comb raiser from Swillington shooting supplies. It was less than a tenner. It made using it much more comfortable especially if shooting up or down hill.
springer man 4
Do you think a flat rail would have made any difference as they are about 85 pounds Cheers lads appreciate all your help
shovel leaner 7,650
Hi springer man , zeroing was fairly straightforward. I've got the N970lrf , which has " one shot " zeroing . I'm not at all technical minded and struggle with computers and even the TVs remote , but I was determined and just followed the instructions and amazed myself . I had it bang on at 100 meters with 3 shots .
