C556 351
I suspect that the people who go out to fight against ISIS will all have their own personal reasons for going out. At one end of the scale you'll have fruitloops and dreamers, and at the other you'll have people who hate the terrorist organisation so much that they'll want to do their bit to kill them, and liberate civilians under their control.

Spot on mate, much better put than me......I suppose you could call the bloke who has never really had a tear up in his life and genuinely wants to go for the right reasons brave but there will also be a good portion of fruitcakes. I remember a few lads at the time of the Balkans war, they were itching to go........these were the sort of lads who just loved to be getting into violence at every opportunity.........nothing brave about them, they just wanted to go out there and kill people for the craic ! Nik_B 3,790
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4546934/PETER-OBORNE-MI6-share-blame-jihadis.html PETER OBORNE: Why MI6 must share the blame for the jihadis in our midst ... Often with the connivance of MI6, during the early years of the Syrian War, hundreds of British citizens were allowed to travel abroad to join jihadist organisations. The reason MI6 certainly approved such involvement was because spy chiefs had taken it upon themselves to meddle in the internal affairs of Middle East countries. In the case of Syria, they wanted to get as much help as possible in their mission to topple the Syrian president Bashir al-Assad. There was a similar policy towards Libya. British citizens it has been reported this week that among them was the father of the Manchester suicide-bomber were undoubtedly encouraged to travel to the north African country to fight in the civil war there to get rid of Gaddafi. Indeed, research by the Middle East Eye website has revealed the extent to which the British authorities, I believe with the encouragement of MI6, released terror suspects in this country from control orders which had previously been imposed on them in order to restrain their movements and stop them from using the internet. Duly, these people were free to join terror groups in the Middle East and North Africa organisations with links to Al Qaeda and other terror outfits. Of course, as well as being enemies of al-Assad and Gaddafi, these groups were also enemies of the West. So, while MI5 officers were working day and night to prevent Islamist terrorists inflicting carnage on British streets, MI6 officers were complicit in creating a generation of British-born jihadis who are prepared to do anything, and kill anyone even young children in their efforts to destroy this country. This brings us directly to the Manchester suicide-bomber. Along with his father and brother, Salman Abedi fought as a 16-year-old in the Libyan civil war. There have been reports, too, that he received military training in Syria. There is every reason to speculate that his evil handiwork at the Manchester Arena on Monday night was in part a direct consequence of MI6s meddling. Have I not been banging on about this for christ knows how long, these 'terrorists' are a proxy army that the powers that been think/know they can control but risk the occasional accident. Politicians or who ever actually runs things know exactly what they are doing and they know that occasionally there will be blow back. In the good old days they could make stories up about WMD or civil rights violations and we would fall for it, now they know we're less gullible or simply apathetic to what is going on abroad so they enable these groups to do their bidding for them.
Nik_B 3,790
I am starting to hate this country.... I feel you mate, but by "the country" you actually mean how things are.......its a complete bunch of arseholes running the show and a zillion f***ing fannies cutting about thinking this is how you crack on but the place and a few good lads still exist. Britain is like watching your teenage sweetheart who you were madly in love with turn into a brass and letting any c**t f**k her for a fiver.......not pleasant and it makes you sad and mad at the same time. I know the politicians are scum, doesn't everyone but Jesus wept what is it going to take for people to demand something be done? Is 2/3s of the country full of retarded morons who just need their daily dose of Big Brother and don't care about our childrens future? Less than 24 hours after the attack we have liberal/leftists with their solidarity solidarity placards in the City centre....they're using a terrible disaster to push their revolting agenda and no one even notices. There is no solidarity in Manchester and we know it, Muslim areas are enclaves & you better not wander in to them at night (or even in the day) or you will get your head kicked in big time.
