Air Rifles 12Ftlbs To F.a.c. 30Ftlbs Questions The Difference?

me dave again askling questions bugging you lot out there again 1 thing that is i would like to know if you have a 12ftlbs wehrauch and you have the same say a 97k but the other is 30ftlbs looking at them they would look no difference even if your standard guy stripped them both they would im thinking look the same the question that chews at me all the time whats the difference and how do they get 1 at 12ft and another at 30ft what the hell do they do i have for years allways wanted to know

 

and guys thanks for the replys and also simon a.k.a. (pianoman) is that you that i have seen shooting with si and davey also simon you know the mounts i got with my HAWKE scopes are them mounts really good and well worth using it would be fantastic one day over summer if i could get down there and shoot with you lot for a day but its a long way from leeds and it would cost me a fortune in petrol feeding the beast it woild get me there quick it costs a bit to run does the AUDI RS6 un-govened remapped e.c.u. but it would be nice ?

 

i got my guns scopes rest laser rangefinder bags ammo the other main things i aint got is some nice strong boots a camo jacket strides and quite a few other bits im a trainers man i just wear what makes me comfy but they arnt practicle for hunting and i cant seem to find a bloody camo jacket the u.k army one im old school used to get them from ARMY & NAVY STORES surplus but they have all dissapeared plus i have never had anything to do with e-bay nowadays they seem to rip you off you have to be carefull nowadays

 

where do you put these fancy sayings underneath your names or posts is it a setting somewhere i cant seem to find it i have had a look but havent got all the stuff and settings sorted my saying that i use everywhere i IV'E COME HERE TO CHEW BUBBLEGUM AND KICK ASS AND IM ALL OUTTA BUBBLEGUM classic saying well guys to all peace out

If you're asking if someone could tell if an airgun is 12 or 30 ft/lbs by just looking at it, probably not. Would it be easy to do that to a gun? Probably yes.

 

Would it be a good idea to do it? Definitely NO.

If you are serious about having a gun that is above the legal limit of 12fpe, then apply for an FAC ticket. Do not try to get away with having an FAC rated gun without a ticket, a chrono used by most of us and certainly the police will tell with one pellet that you have an FAC gun.

 

If you go down the route of buying an FAC gun without a ticket...............................DON'T tell us on here.

The advice from Dave, Walshie and Phil is spot on mate

 

I've had a go on a .25 running at around 50ftlb - it was an awesome bit of kit and a lot of fun to use.

 

If the truth be told, I could probably own and use one without ever being caught but, what if?............

 

It's just not worth the risk mate - you'd probably loose the rest of your kit and, gain a conviction for a firearms offence.

...... It only takes 1 phone call from 1 curtain twitcher.

 

If you want FAC kit and, you've been a good boy in the past, get your application in

 

There's loads of good blokes with lots of knowledge on here that'll point you in the right direction

guys dave here wait 1 sec you have me all wrong. no i dont want a rifle that is or well over 12ftlbs. its wrong and i know i would get shafted by the plod and allsorts confiscated and could be hefty fines and jail time. i know that plod like to confiscate things and when you have payed a damm fortune too. i just wanted to know what the difference was MY FAULT i do opologise my bad and the last thing i want to do is upset people, that wasnt my intention far from it a big sorry to BIGMAC-97KT i didnt mean it to look or sound the way it did on screen i meant it would be nice i know there is a lot more than trusting someone you guys dont even know. never met and all sorts of factors i know that wouldn't happen but ehh you can dream. its how it look on screen i have a habbit, of just speaking my mind allways have anyway sorry to guys who taken it the wrong way wasnt my intention stay safe and happy shooting
