Imo the two greatest challenges this country faces are population growth and debt and frankly no one is really willing to sort either imo. They're not really election winners.

It's because the Conservatives are really a centrist party, they know full well there is no appetite for fiscal responsibility. National debt is 1.6 Trillion pounds and growing by the day and it will be paid off by future generations who may very well take out their hardships on us when we are old, you already see young people blaming the baby boomers for their situation.

I think you are guilty of bigoted, tangential thinking. Where do I say I trust the government? Where do I state that we should give them all our money? Where do I refer to banning or regulating every belief system we adhere to?

 

On this very thread you said faith schools should be banned,you've said you're pro wealth redistribution,you're in favour of 'social justice'.

If you own anything you must have a lot of faith in whoever you're giving all that authority to.

 

Unless you're potless yourself,in which case more free stuff must be very appealing

 

I think any impartial reader would agree that a belief in social justice and wealth redistribution are very different concepts than blindly trusting governments, and giving them all my money. I vehemently believe in banning faith schools, they breed ignorance and bigotry. Parents should teach that superstitious intellectually bankrupt crap if they must. We don't need religion to impart a moral code to our children.
