I've had an baby otter follow me along a river bank. It whistled all the time. My take on it was that it had become separated from its mother and was just following movement out of habit. Maybe the same thing was happening here????

The guy in the video was a wuss lol.

What a fanny I'd have guessed captive/rescued released but maybe you're right. Wouldn't the cubs be smaller at this time?

Yes it was well grown.I guess we will never know why it behaved liked that.

Had one swim between my wader boots there during the winter. Was only in about two foot of water. I'll never be as close to one again.

 

 

 

And yea, I had a squeaky bum moment. I won't lie. Lol
