Those who call themselves labour are usually those who are happy with an existence, have no aspirations and hate the thought that someone may have far more than them in life but have no drive to do anything about it .Life as we know it would not work if it were not for the wealth divisions. It all filters down ,it just depends on how much of that you want for yourself and that equals work .The different parties in power in my lifetime have proved that the Tories ,with their faults as well ,have been the ones when we were most well off and happy. I think the free vote on hunting though will never happen but just my view.

Oh i dont think thats true foxdropper. Ive said before i dont hate the rich at all and im no leftie either.I think what the problem is the wealth divide is getting to obcene levels now. Especially when people IN WORK are having to visit foodbanks.

f**k sake that cant be right!

I also dont think people are anti rich businesmen more the top men and politicians who award themselfs huge salaries and bonuses while joe bloggs wages are frozen or stuck on min wage and zero hour contracts.

also can someone explain the difference between min wage and a living wage.

Surely if you work a wage should be enough to live on or wheres the incentive to work.

never understood that term at all.

Anybody with an ounce of common knows these tax hikes labour propose will not cover the spending spree they are planning it will be the trickle down most of us would feel if labour get in higher council taxes Vat rises and higher intrest rates.

Food banks only get used because their there to be used... I don't remember people walking round with pop bellys and malnutrition before we had food banks.. I agree they have there place for society most vulnerable like the homeless but on the whole most who use them probably don't need to. Why spend your money on food when someone is giving it away for free

There isn't a functioning form of society that doesn't have people that need a hand, either through a bad turn of luck or irresponsible behaviour. Making food banks disappear doesn't mean that you have a better society. Lets have it right, food banks are voluntary charity for those that fall into the category above. The alternatives are either 'f**k the needy' or have the government force you to be charitable by taking your money.

Or.......you could have some faith in humanity, let them keep their own money and provide for those less fortunate in their own family's or area.?

Imagine a world where government didn't need to legislate your responsibility !
