How useless are the NPWS eh! Couldn't sort out a couple a big rats. Then again, what would any of them know about trapping anything. Now that their spreading, the task is gonna be much more difficult.

The Norfolk broads were full of them years ago, I think it took about four years to eradicate them, they look like a big rat but have not got as much go as a little rat a half decent terrier makes short work of them, I think Plummer put a chapter in one of his books about hunting them, but in truth ok if they are on your doorstep but certainly not worth traveling for,

French fellow I used to work with used to shoot them on the village duck pond with a crossbow. Said the villagers use to treat him like a hero and give him drinks and all the rest every time he killed one?
