sledge 1
Collected the new compatto yesterday , couldn't wait to try it out , I have a Bushnell Trophy as a spare for my .223 so put this on and went out for a few shots at the target , after only a few shots I heard air leaking when recycling the bolt . When the bolt was cocked I could hear the air leaking from the barrel , I brought it home & the gauge was reading 180bar , checked it this morning & it was completely empty , really disappointed with this as I had waited a long time to receive it A trip back to the RFD at the weekend again !! That's unlucky sledge... and it is down to luck! All company's are sending dodgy/substandard rifles out, not just brocock/daystate! If you still want to stick with the same call the shop and tell them you want a New one on sat when you go in cos it's gonna be a send off for a strip down! Atb and good luck They will try dry firing while charging with the bottle to see if tha closes the valve but, If it's done it once it'll more than likely happen again! 1 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,553
Ditto to Si, Sledge. Demand a new rifle as you have been sold faulty goods. "IF" the rfd says he has no more rifles in stock until next week, I would recommend you ask for your money back. good luck mate, please tell us all how you get on. Mark. 1 Quote Link to post
