New Perm Today

Recommended Posts

when i went lamping with les last week we passed some fields that were lifting with rabbits, (it wasnt a perm) so i went this morning and asked the owner if we could shoot rabbits, he said if we get rid of the ferrals first then yes, i took the fx and went for a wonder and there was loads, i shot around 35 but only managed to find these in the pic as the others dropped on roofs and in the cow pens, theres plenty more so les is coming tomorrow and the sooner we make a big dent in these the sooner we can get onto the rabbits

Nice one BN :good:

I am most definitely a .177 man but, I can't argue with the way a .22 brings down pigeons

Thats the same as me jon but the hw100 is 11.9 ftlb and the .177 at the closer distances goes straight through th pigeons and i dont want any complaints about holes in roofs thats why i like this .22 for this type of shooting

Im useing bizley mags 10.6 i think the weight is and they go through so wont those monsters aswell dave, thats why im thinking the hollow points might be better, cheers for the nice offer thou mate

That's the thing with those Bis Mags - they seem to penetrate really well. They're the only pellet that drills right through my stack of brochures when I'm doing grouping tests.

I reckon it's because of the weight and that slightly more pointed nose.

Me and Si were talking about Baracuda Hunter Extreme earlier......

They've been accurate in a lot of rifles that I've had. Also, that cross cut into the face gives a greater surface area so, they tend to hit with a good punch and, slow down fast after impact, remaining in the quarry.

.....I reckon they're worth a go mate
