as a kid due to my hayfever i had hundreds.no exageration.one lasted for hours and they stuffed a load of bandages up there but did not shove a soldering iron up there.do not tilt your head back that makes you swallow the blood,for me blowing my nose and getting rid of the crap up there allways worked better.do not get so many these days as i take pills for my blood pressure.

I've always suffered with nose bleeds and more so as a kid,I had an inhaler as the Doctor said it was Hayfever that was causing them. Young Daughter suffers with them just the same. I tried to have my nose cauterised when I started boxing but they wouldn't do it for some reason.

Well hopefully the Dr will know whats causing it. Sick of steeping t shirts and tops in salt water lol This hacking better not impede my drs appointment!

I've had them all my life I have one nearly every day first nose blow of the day brings it on always the right nostril I went to the hospital and I sat in the chair and the doctor said he was going to laser it then said there's nothing there I'd had a nose bleed on the way to hospital.

 

I find just bunging the nostril with tissue causes it to clot and stops it, tilting your head back as said earlier just makes you swallow it not nice.

A leaky defence is a good eventual cure for nose bleeds fight with your face like i used to and the cartilage that seperates the nose into two nostrils becomes so worn and mis shapen that it takes a serious amount of force to cause a nose bleed......its usually silver nitrate that they use to cauterise it but it rarely lasts long.

 

Scot your not on any sort of aspirin or anti coagulant of any type are you if its just spontaneously bleeding without knocking it you should really get it looked into liver disease,high blood pressure,hemophilia can all cause the nose to bleed.......im sure its nothing to worry about though and you can use things like synthetic powder ( i forget the name of it now ) or potassium salt to help it stop quickly.....ive even known lads use estrogen cream,the stuff women use on their minge !.....should all stop it bleeding within a minute.

Cheers gnash ill certainly mention that to my Dr. No only pills i take daily are co codemol. Been taking them for few year now.

Yea it just started suddenly. Was filling up my bird feeders today and next thing i knew ive got fukn blood pouring out my nose and tasting that iron taste lol

 

yea i dont think its anything to serious cz i feel ok really. Never had high blood pressure or collesteral. (Spelling).

 

f***ing nuisance more than anything.
