Now that I've seen a picture the dog definitely isn't fat ... change vets fella .......

I like to see a bit of chub on a pup. Its called puppy fat for a good reason, they'll grow into it

If you had the money, might have been worth asking to see a partnered vet / senior for a second opinion

If your at a decent livestock vet like the one I use rather than a "practice" or a "consultancy" said vet would be getting a chewing guaranteed.

I'd look at changing vets mate, I had a vet who was so good with my dogs, I followed him round as he moved practices

Ps just to through a little light into vets

2 years ago i walked my dog on the Heath we live near and he ran straight into a branch eye first

Rang the vet to meet me at the surgery, he was out of hours as well, stopped at home to pick up the credit card en route and told the wife to put the dinner in the oven

Why?

Cause it was xmas f***ing day!!!

Went in and said , listen if this is over 500 just stuck him in the bin

The vet was the senior partner and knew the score , old country gent, I helped to sedate him and in the clean up afterwards after the stitching

As he was cleaning up, he winked and said "happy Christmas kid "

Nice to see there's a few around who aren't just after your cash
