So now have 2 x WCS tube traps placed in the roof gutter, baited with peanut butter to hopefully intercept the squirrels, also have a elgeeco live catch peanut feeder on tree.

I'd be tempted to put one of my hob ferrets into the roof space entrance hole they're using and await the explosions.

That'll do it mate , i do rate the WCS for greys , glad to see you've read a couple of other posts and took some advice.

16th May til now and finally caught the first squirrel in a wcs tube

Normally they just run into a trap and easy to catch,

personally i would set up a pole between the house and them trees with a wire bird feeder filled with maize in the middle of the pole .Then i would get some snares on the pole and watch them hang one by one

I think the squirrels are probably bypassing the area your setting traps, and going from the tree's directly into the loft space. The garden looks very overgrown from the pucture, so if you could clear an area, and draw them to it with a baitstation.

Cottage is very overgrown, have cleared tree branches so there is a no easy overhang for the squirrels.

Finally getting somewhere now!!

 

3 squirrels down. 2 have been in the wcs tube and another in the procull.

 

Unfortunately, the tube one was a foul catch, had caught it by the back leg, but soon dispatched.

Yes, got one wcs in the gutter (caught 2 so far) and a procull on other side of roof. All have smooth peanut butter

Squirrel number 4 now, taken with the Procull with my home made box cover and tied to tree. Getting there
