neil cooney 10,416
All nice and good to think you might have another species to hunt. Years ago when an alien species tried to get a foothold the hunting / country man would be the one asked to sort the problem out. But in this day and age when a foreign species appears it's usually followed by pen pushers with degrees in wildlife management to sort out the problem. And you don't want them type on your doorstep. 2 Quote Link to post

Waz 4,274
Do them big uns live by them selves, or in a family mate, an are there earths big places or just a tube?? They burrow into banks at water level, then upwards a bit so as to nest in the dry, a couple of entrances. If they are really untouched and hidden in brambles and no ones controlling them then entrances will appear on the top of the bank, due to erosion collapse etc. Dug a couple of metres for one once to a fox terrier - not funny. You can dig 1s and 2s and sometimes more. They are everywhere, streams lakes rivers. 1 Quote Link to post
