Shovel shy 4,033
We had great fun but admittedly we bolt to lurchers so Quote Link to post
Mark r 208
Can they put enough pressure on to push it to ground Quote Link to post
Shovel shy 4,033
Yes definitely. We got a lot of digging last year. Quote Link to post
Toby13 1
Some foxes are useless an will go to ground easily no matter what is behind it... But a good fox in the habit of being hunted will just tip away at his own pace all day in front of beagles an won't go to ground 1 Quote Link to post
ijf 111
Put 26 to ground last year Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
I dont keep hounds anymore but when i did keep a few we also called them beagles but they were not the little foot beagle you see hunting hare with the registered packs. These were as big as harriers and well capable of running a fox to ground. Ya fat man all the lads I know in kerry call their dogs beagles but to me they are harriers. They are not the black and tan kerry beagles either. Quote Link to post
