sussex 5,777
Really can't believe that nobody has taken this up yet We struggled last year on the organised crow days half the people never turned up or never stayed with it , pigeon days you can get everyone and his uncle to come ..Really satisfying to get the crows coming in to the decoys and finishing up with a good bag .. 1 Quote Link to post
David.evans 5,323
IMO , crows are fecin a lot harder to decoy , than the good old woody , crafty gits and not so daft as some people say , I've just googled up,where BD Lives and it a 3.1/4 hrs drive from Birmingham , so I'm going to try and sweet talk her in doors , and a new dress I'll let you know BD how it pans out mate , that's if nobody takes you up on what's a great offer ATB 1 Quote Link to post

jeemes 4,436
You could try putting it in the shooting oppertunities section under pigeon shooting. Might get more views. Quote Link to post

philpot 4,965
I would jump at the chance if you were nearer as I love shooting crows over decoys and owl decoy, just finished with a farmer's freshly drilled field with loads of sport. When I lived in Sheffield, I used to shoot over a number of sheep farms at lambing time because of the crows getting the lambs eyes. Best method was the old owl decoy, they just kept coming despite dead birds lying all around. My pension would not go very far if I kept coming up to Cumbria to shoot the buggers for you I am sorry to say. Good luck in finding someone. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
