Shroud On My Hw80

i was going to get a shroude fitted to my hw80 custom but was advised not to on a springer why are carbon shrouds not good on springers but ok on pcps

Well, I would disagree with the person who's advised you not too. After all, although not full length, the TX and PS seem just fine, fair enough there not 'carbon'. Plus, the amount of tuning going on at the moment, bits like the little 99, shrouds are super and almost the next phase in tuning process after internals. There a matter of taste of course, but if you would like one, get one installed. It won't do anything, but make the rifle look better. But again, that's an opinion. Unless your actually considering chopping the barrel down and having a proper shroud sorted.

Another option, just bang on a twenty two 98 barrel. Job done.

I think the shrouded barrels look miles batter than un shrouded

thanks bry mate i will get one sorted my hw is going to marks for a screw cut and re crown so i will see him to do the work, bry you will be inpressed with this rapid you have bought off my mate

thanks matt just got back from dropping it off,should get it back monday all screw cut and re crowned with shroude fitted and carbon silencer fitted,look forward to getting it back and trying it out
