jok 3,269
Well Nicholas that does look good. Out of curiosity, where does such a blade end up? When I looked at the last pic I thought, 'crikey his fingers are a mess'.? Nice work. Jok.

Exactly, it will be used for boar hunting The blade is a 23cm long and 4 wide, I'll round the tip a little to prevent to stuck up in a rib. @jok you should see the workshop now that's dirty! spsurfer 891
Thank you!!! Today I prepared the handle, a swiveling thread to allow better alignment of the pommel and prevents tensions on the tang. Hopefully tomorrow I can instal the handle. spsurfer 891
Thank you Sirs!!! @W.Katchum, I'll write you a pm.. This one will see use as it's custom made for an experiences hunter. As you can see, the tip is dull to prevent getting cought up in the rip cage. 70% of the work on this one has been the guard, ferrule and pommel, a less ornated guard is not that complicated. Maybe soon a "modern" version of old school hunting cutlass ? Have a nice christmas time and a perfect, happy new year. Regards Nicolas
