I made use of my vanguard, a Howa really.

I reloaded and used h4350 and Hornady 100grn sp spire points for deer and Speer 70grn tnt on foxes.

I have the t3 lite too mate and wouldn't swap it for anything.Ase ultra mod ,Winchester factory ammo in 100grn for everything .Shot all 6 with it with no dramas

So Have I (top one). I am amazed, has something changed with the T3 Lite. I guess mine is about 10 years old now, but it took me 2 years or barrel chops, scope and mount changes, moderator changes and then a few ounces of lead in the shoulder stock to actually get it balanced. Its brilliant now and very accurate, but then I went for the T3 Hunter in .243 (middle one) and balance was great at the start!

 

Bottom is a Rem700 in .308

I've got a T3 and it's good for the money but I wouldn't say that it couldn't be improved. I'd like to see a metal trigger/mag guard, metal double stack mags and also the option of 22" barrel.

 

The Sako fits that requirement better I suppose but is significantly more expensive. That's probably what I'll replace the T3 with when I feel like it. not that my T3 has let me down mind.
