you cannot see why I placed the snare where it is but where would you put it?

Well it did the job where you put it but on a run that long you could of put another one just this side of the tramline

On such a fabulous field run, I always try to set on the smallest beat ..indeed,..on such a well used travelway.

I would usually lay more than one snare....

 

Been a long while since I caught a rabbit though,...so I might well be wrong...

Snare needs to be set on the smallest beat at 7-71/2 inch....hoop snares are deadly on ground like this?

This hoop was set on the same type of ground,then the snow came

The rabbits on this field was using the tyre track as a run,ground was a bit soft for a peg but the hoops held well.
