Hello all.

 

I do pest control for local authority etc etc.

 

I got a job that's perfect for a bit of fun with the smokers and a few terriers.. Just outside of Rotherham.

 

Its an old farmhouse with a few outbuildings etc etc and an old mill..They have rescued some battery hens and in the process they have also adopted a few of our furry friends..

 

I was there yesterday in the middle of afternoon and they were running about all over the place..with very little fear of us humans etc etc. I could have shot at least a dozen while I was there..So there's deffo a few about.. I cannot guarantee massive numbers but i'm sure there's a bit of sport for the terriers.

 

The boring bit.... Dogs must be stock broken to cattle/horses and chickens obviously.

 

Don't want a massive team of lads smashing the place up..2 would be ideal.

 

Tomorrow is a good day for it.. or any day next week after 4pm for a couple of hours etc etc...or next weekend ? sooner the better.

Some lads from Barnsley came to the Warehouse I work Vin they shifted a few off a large bank they certainly put an hole in them mate .I find their number for you pal when I go back to work on Monday.

I have a mate from Barnsley who usually is chomping on the bit to get at em... But he's been too busy working lately and He has a lot of other stuff on with his terriers that's sometimes more interesting than ratting at this time of year..lol.. I wouldn't be surprised if its same lads you met.. Normally I would wait around on it..but this place needs a quick knock down before the poisons go all over it.

I need a back up team these days for the odd emergency.. I should get myself a couple of ratters,But I prefer my laid back no trouble Lurchers

I would do don but my dogs would be more interested in trying to take the horses down than the rats

I did not meet them Vin they came down on a Saturday when I was not working though I am surprised the gaffer let them use the liquid ferret so near the gas tank that they use to fill the fork trucks up with.lol
