Hi From Isleworth, Middlesex

Recommended Posts

Sorry been browsing and made a post without introducing myself.

Learnt my trade on Conwy Mountain and the Great and Little Ormes in North Wales but hung up my guns(sold them all) and fostered the ferrets to a good home in the mid 90's as I moved to the smoke and realised shooting would be at best, once in a blue moon.

I was a bit of a fanatic, with Weihrauchs, FWKB's and a tuned to buggery webley omega(I loved that gun even more than my HW77). Also flirted with TX's and Diana 52's.

The last year, a pal of mine had a little SMK going very cheap so knowing I had a ready made 12m indoor range, I bought it. The obsession started to creep back in so I decided to treat myself to my holy grail of rifles for christmas and purchased myself a Pro Sport. I bought it in .22 for the rats in work but kind of regreting it a bit now and wished I had gone for .177 for all round work even if I do still (try to) believe .22 is the calibre for springers. Times seem to have changed a lot in the 20 years I've been out of the sport but it still seems to attract youngsters which is refreshing to see.

I'm already looking towards a HW97 in .177 as my next purchase as I'm far to old fashioned for a PCP.

Anyway, nice to meet you all, any local lads looking for a buddy, drop me a line.I might even have some rats and pigeons to deal with over the summer at work so possible invites could be forthcoming.

All the best,

Steve

Welcome pal.

You have already got in my opinion the best looking and one of the most accurate out of the box springers money can buy pal.

Enjoy the forum and ask away as you will always get answers. The lads on here are some of the best???
