I've never been on a hunt like that but I really love seeing them. last year at Christmas time my wife and I were taking a backroad back from Peebles and when we came round the corner there were a pack of hounds and about twelve horses. I sat and watched them for bit and the atmosphere was great. Thats what its all about. Being outdoors doing something you love!! Quote Link to post
countrylass 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 do you no the flying waight of the goldie looks a small 1 to me atb fraser I dont know the flying weight of the eagle, i know he is a young bird. So far this season the bird has taken a fox and a brace of hare out with the hunt, i have also seen him hit a roe deer. Unfortunately due to the foot and mouth and the blue tongue they had a late start this season. Quote Link to post
