DogMan85 722
My old Collie Lurcher got poisoned some years back, me and my old man was out walking and for the first few mile the dog was sound, after a while though he started trembling and collapsing. I was only a young kid and luckily my Dad ran and carried the dog to my Uncles who got him to the vets. I can't for the life of me remeber if the tests were inconclusive though, maybe it was that. 1 Quote Link to post

NEWKID 27,127
Thanks for all the kind words lads, most appreciated. It would seem I'm not alone in being unaware of how poisonous mould can be... Another thing, there are some top people about, the mates I have through running dogs are real mates... to come home today and find a shepherds pie, veg and sticky toffee pudding on our door step off of one of the lads and his wife was a proper touch... thanks mate the other lads have been on the phone today, offfering a bit of support, help or an ear to bend....when it gets a bit shitty you know who you're mates are for sure 6 Quote Link to post

SINDASOX 255
Sorry to hear that, as you said it must have come as a terrible shock, didn't know about the dangers of mould either. In the past iv'e mixed up a bit of stale bread that had a bit of mould on it with the dog's food and gravy etc, didn't realise the dangers of it until i just had a quick look on the link put up by sandymere, also given cheese with a bit of mould on it as well.
