I am sure you do, Ive been out with a few hunts and had a few digs, and it was all go go go and the dog or the terrierman couldnt put a foot wrong, hats off to them. Ive seen a few bellends too mind you.

what I mean is I've heard certain lads saying how they've had 10 over a weekend with one dog only to find out they've only had 3 digs but had a 3 a 3 and a 4 bottled up.

It took me a fair few years to slow down and enjoy the day again, would I do it again ? Not a chance, to many backstabbing b*****ds, you don't need anti's in the hunting job, you're surrounded by c**ts 24/7.

I'll stick to scratching around and enjoying the day, the company and the terrier work, no rush, rush, rush.

The old boy that started me off came for a day with me just as I was packing it in, we had nine that day. There was nothing to deep, it was like shelling peas, three to four foot every one of them. We we're finishing up on the last dig when he says to me "this isn't digging, it's rush, rush, rush". Well I wasn't having any of that shit so I says to your man "putting two shit jack russells in to get the job done isn't digging to me but you did it" !!! That put him back in his box lol

Its two different worlds, I was asked to do some work for a mounted pack once and after spending some time out with them there was no way, I kept working my handful of terriers the way I wanted, no pressure no rush no hassle.
